This is great for the price. A little bit of setimate at the bottom of the caraffe after each pot. But overall, for $25-30 its awesome,,i will buy again when it dies…The plate does not stay hot forever though, it turns off kind of quick (an hour or two)

It makes very good coffee. No messy spill issues at all. When pouring coffee from the flask into the mug. The proper way is to press with thumb back of the flask lid and keep it open while pouring coffee into the mug. There will be no messy spill. I also don’t have any drip issues when flask is not sitting on the heating element. The re useable filter is easy to clean with hand gently or place in the upper rack of the dishwasher. The base cup where you place this filter and where the coffee accumulates when brewing is also detachable and can be washed or place in the dishwasher. Happy with purchase and me and wife use it every day.
